About Michael

Michael Minor calls Summerville, South Carolina home where he resides with his wife, Jill and two children, but his journey as an entertainer has taken him around the World! An alumnus of Luther College in Iowa, Michael was part of the world-renowned Nordic Choir under the direction of the legendary Weston Noble. Michael’s post-college career continued on stages nationwide including the show, Caesar’s Magical Empire at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas, Emcee, Vocalist, and Lead Rider for Dolly Parton’s Stampede Show, and featured vocalist in The Shoji Tabuchi Show, in Branson, Missouri. Michael incorporated ventriloquism into his repertoire after joining the cast of Moranz Entertainment. His first puppet, Clarence the Moose, was later joined by three more characters who sing and perform impressions as part of his show.

When his schedule allows, Michael loves performing closer to home and can be seen on tv, film and even heard on the radio as the voice of both the USC Gamecock and the Clemson Tiger. Recently, he portrayed Daniel’s Father in Daniel and The Kings at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, followed by a featured entertainer role in Sinatra: The Man and His Music at the Charleston Music Hall. Michael’s One-Man Variety Show has dazzled audiences on luxury cruise ships, high-end resorts, and prestigious theaters worldwide.

Our Story

Michael’s career expanded from Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas to Branson, Missouri, where he worked as an emcee, lead vocalist, and performer in major productions. He later spent ten years as a featured entertainer at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where director Brad Moranz encouraged him to develop ventriloquism and celebrity impressions. That guidance became the spark that led Michael to create his own variety show.

Now living in Summerville, South Carolina with Jill and their two children, Noah and Neve, Michael continues to bring together comedy, music, and unforgettable characters. Every performance is designed to inspire, entertain, and leave audiences smiling long after the final bow.
